Academies

Kilworth Studio provide furniture, fitting and equipment design and consultancy in support of the Academies programme. Working as part of a team with main contractor and architect we are able to offer independently sourced solutions that offer maximum value to the client. Our service is based on expert industry experience in design and manufacturing that gives us a clear insight into production costs and materials sourcing. Where necessary we design innovative new products that meet the specific needs of and Academy’s unique educational brief. This puts us and our clients at the forefront of learning in an ever changing world of learning styles and technologies.

Special Needs

Special needs require bespoke solutions.

Clearly no one size fits all is appropriate when dealing with the needs of less able and disadvantages children and adults in their learning environments. To meet the varying needs of users we take time with educationalists and programme developers to create supporting environments and products to serve each special circumstance. Whether it be for sight, hearing,  physical or mental disabilities, we can bring enhanced solutions that are safe and appropriate. We work with colour, texture and form to enhance the experiences of learners and teachers in their challenging circumstances.

Primary Schools

Its a small world.

The obvious challenge with primary education environments is we need an environment and fittings that meet the needs of smaller children whilst also operating affectively for teaching staff. We can think about the uinique requirements of children and offer tactile and colourful forms that are enticing and stimulate learning themselves.
